The 2010 Regatta will begin on Friday, September 3 when the vintage raceboats and hydroplanes begin to arrive in Wheeling. Our Regatta registration trailer opens at 9:00 AM at the top of Heritage Port and remains open until 5:00 PM. The pits are open on Friday so if you'd like to see the vintage boats up close and have great chances to talk to the drivers, join us in Heritage Port any time on Friday.

Our opening ceremonies begin at 9:45 AM on Saturday and Sunday. The first heats of hydroplanes roar away from the dock at 10:00 AM. If you are anywhere in Wheeling and begin to hear a loud roar, you are probably hearing our raceboats! Heats will continue until noon at which time our course is closed for river traffic to come through. The heats begin again at 2:00 PM and last until 6:00 PM.

Free musical entertainment will be played on both Friday and Saturday. Starting at 6:00 PM Friday, listen to the sounds of Loretta & Ellie, New American Groove takes the stage at 7:30 PM and Hot Pursuit ends the evening beginning at 9:30 PM. Beginning at 6:00 PM on Saturday, listen to the Brandon Ray Collins Band, and at 7:30 PM hear the Adrian Niles Band. The Fabulous Bender Boys will round out the Saturday evening beginning at 9:30 PM.

Vendors will be open beginning on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM and some will be carrying breakfast items. Come have your coffee with us!
