SeaQuest Kids

Download the SeaQuest Kids Waiver for your child to participate in this wonderful boat building program. Print, sign the form and bring it with you and your child on the day that your child wants to help build a boat.

The SeaQuest Kids program at the 2009 Wheeling Vintage Raceboat Regatta was wildly popular! Over 100 children of all ability levels ages 3 - 18 participated in building boats, learning important aspects of boating safety and boat building techniques and materials, and finally taking their new boats for their inaugural voyages on the Ohio River in front of Heritage Port.

We are pleased to announce that Fearless Leader Steve Gronka and SeaQuest Kids will return to the Wheeling Vintage Raceboat Regatta in 2010. We will be accepting school and daycare groups as well as indviduals who would like to learn to build boats with this great program. No prior experience is necessary. Steve and the SeaQuest Kids volunteers will teach your child/children everything they need to know!

The SeaQuest Kids program takes place in the grassy area between Heritage Port and WesBanco Arena in Wheeling. We are currently scheduling groups and individuals for sessions from September 2 through September 6, 2010.
